Is MINDCHURCH a Religious Organization?

What’s up with the Venue?
The Mindchurch crew has been dreaming about renting this location for over a decade. The Hudson Valley Resort has hosted many festivals in the past, and offers beautiful grounds and a huge theatre. We will have music outdoors while the sun is out, and music indoors throughout the night and morning. The most important thing we wanted when choosing a venue was a place where the volume could be the same at 6PM and 6AM. We are excited to have found one, and the added amenities of a resort with rooms, a pool, and food service, makes us even more excited. We have carefully priced Mindchurch 2022 so that your campsite can become a hotel room, while still paying about the same price per person. See our Ticket page on this site for details about booking a room and buying a discounted ticket. Rooms are limited, and previous festivals have filled up every room. It’s a good idea to start planning now with your crew. WE ARE NOT PERMITTED TO ALLOW TENTS ON THE HOTEL’S PROPERTY, AND YOU MUST HAVE A ROOM IN ORDER TO ACCESS THE WING OF THE RESORT WITH ROOMS. We encourage you to join the Mindchurch Community Group and post, if you need roommates.
What will the Venue be like? Will there be porto potties? How Far is the Campground?
The Venue is a giant building with a Lobby, Theatre and other rooms. There is a restroom in the Lobby, and in the rooms you can rent. There will not be bathrooms outside, because we are not allowed to camp. If you bought a ticket without a room, and you realize you now need one, please tell us at mindchurchfest@gmail.com. THERE IS NO CAMPING AREA or campground. The entire event takes place in one building. If you don’t have a room, you will have to sleep off site. Tents will need to be dismantled.
Is there food?
Yes. We will have Groovelink Cafe selling food for cash and they will be open for late night. There is a Walmart nearby in Ellenville, NY. There are no kitchens or mini-fridges in the rooms. We will also be selling coffee and smoothies via Boppin’ Beans, one of our favorite beverage vendors.
IS THIS AN 18+ EVENT?
Yes. You should have your ID ready for inspection at the gate. Minors will need to be accompanied by their guardian.
Alcohol?
This is a BYOB event but alcohol is only permitted in your room.
Can I vend?

Can I volunteer?
Volunteer positions are only for those who volunteered last year. This is because of the nature of the event. Please click here and apply. At our next outdoor event, we will re-introduce volunteer services.

When should I arrive? Leave?
Check In is 4:00 PM, November 11, 2022. Check out is at 11:00 AM on Sunday 11/13/22. If you need more time, inquire at the front desk.
Are there single day passes available?
Unfortunately we are not able to offer single day tickets.
What is the deal with PARKING?
PARKING IS LIMITED: PLEASE CARPOOL.
What will happen after we arrive and park?
Simply park and check in at the Hotel’s front desk. Then, get your wristbands at the Mindchurch Box Office.
What accommodations for lodging are available?
The venue is a Hotel! And, an affordable one. If you choose to stay off site, you must purchase a full price ticket.
When does Music Start?
Music is going to start at 5pm SHARP on Friday and continue until noon on Sunday. Come Early!
CAN I BRING MY KIDS?
Yes. Must be accompanied by a guardian at all times.
CAN I BRING MY PET or any animal?
No. We are not able to allow animals at the event, except in the case of service animals with legitimate written documentation. Service Animals and their owners must abide by the Resort’s policies. You will need to Call the resort to reserve a room with an animal. There is an extra fee of $50. Animals must be leashed at all times, must not be left in the room unattended, and must be well behaved. The resort staff will ask us to eject anyone who does not follow these policies.
What forms of payment will be available at the Gate?
Although cash is preferred, and less expensive as we will not have to charge processing fees, (ATM ON SITE), we will also be accepting Zelle, credit cards, and if those are not available, Venmo.
Will there be Vendors?
YES, there will be craft vendors, as well as an ATM on site. The Hotel will serve food, menu TBA.
Who is behind MINDCHURCH?
We are a very small team, new on the scene, based out of the Hudson Valley, NY. The 2021 Mindchurch was our very first event of this kind, although we have production experience with concerts and festivals in our past. There are no commercial investors, but we take our responsibility for your safety, the care of the venue, and the care of our staff, volunteers, and performers, VERY seriously.
What COVID precautions will be taken?
As stated on all tickets “TEMPERATURE CHECKS AND COVID PRECAUTIONS WILL BE TAKEN.” This means the following: MINDCHURCH attendees will be provided with a free mask upon entry, and shall be advised to wear masks, wash hands frequently and to obtain consent before coming close to another attendee. disinfectant and sanitizer will be readily available. Vaccinations are encouraged for attendees. Attendees, vendors, and artists who arrive that are visibly sick, or have a high temperature or have received a recent positive COVID test will not be allowed into the festival grounds. Mindchurch makes no claim, express or implied, that attendees will not be exposed to COVID.
